According to the [National Hurricane Center](http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/), the 2015 hurricane season in the Atlantic begins June 1st and ends November 30th. As we begin hurricane season here in Florida, it is important to remember that preparation is the best protection against the dangers of a hurricane. Don't wait until a storm is heading your way! Watch this video to learn more about how to survive the storm with these hurricane safety precautions.   To begin you family's plan of action to prepare for a storm, here are a few key supplies to have in case of a hurricane: A three day supply of water minimum, non-perishable food, first aid kit, medicines, extra cash, blankets and sleeping bags.
